WHAT YOU''LL DO:

Responsibilities:
Answer telephone/email inquiries.
Sort and distribute Accounts Payable mail along with stamping daily mail for the Casino.
Log and maintain invoices for tracking purposes
Maintain physical vendor files, and update computer software accordingly.
Prepare all invoices for payment.
Process distributions to the General Ledger as required.
Process checks according to procedures.
Understand Sales Tax guidelines and maintain accurate Sales Tax records.
Assists with quarterly audits by providing supporting documentation
Other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to investigate discrepancies and problem solve.
Ability to organize and maintain filing system.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and co-workers.
Critical thinking and time management skills.
Ability to be neat, organized and share a common work space.
Skill in English grammar and spelling. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to operate a 10-key. Ability to type 35 wpm.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
Education: High school education or equivalent

Experience: Payable and/or data entry experience preferred
Certificate/License: Michigan Gaming Occupational Level Two License

Team: Accounting/FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
