Seeking ambitious and creative software engineers who will contribute to the development of applications that are downloaded to a phone and directly to an in-vehicle infotainment system
Requirements:
1. Experience with native Android UI development for phones (multi-resolutions, resource utilization such as images, layouts, strings)
2. Experience with Android Activities, Fragments and Dependency Injection
3. Multi-threaded development on Android platforms
4. Web Services (REST, RPC, and/or SOAP)
5. Object -oriented design / patterns
6. Source code control units (Git, Subversion, or CVS)
7. Writing test driven code
JDM Systems Consultants works with Government offices and Fortune 500 companies in Michigan including General Motors -OnStar, Chrysler - U-Connect, Dominos Pizza, Volkswagen, Sears, Mercedes, and The Advisory Board Company on long term Developments and game-changing technology. In many instances, JDM provides the entire team (Architects, Developers, BA, System Analyst, Testers/QA, PMs, etc.) and both develops and drives the technology. Our industries include automotive, financial, retail, healthcare.
Our positions / employment opportunities are for open-ended contract positions with very good salary and employee benefits, including 10 days PTO, 8 paid client holidays, 401k participation with up to 3% matching, direct deposit, and healthcare insurance (medical, dental, vision).
Our employees are permanent employees of JDM, and many of our employees have been with us since the 1990s!
We are NOT a staffing agency, but rather provide IT consultants and develop IT Solutions for our clients.
