Paladin Consulting is currently hiring for a Legal Discovery Support Representative to join our team working onsite at our client''s office located in Detroit, MI.
Job Title:Legal Discovery Support Representative
Work Location:Detroit, MI
Length of Position:Long-term contract
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Description:
Provide support & documentation for drafting responses
Schedule conference calls
Manage conference calls (take minutes, complete applicable forms
documentation, etc.)
Prepare Discovery Tracking logs
Conduct searches in multiple databases and applications
Draft Reponses
Establish foldering (multiple documents to be included in one folder )
structure for documents
Schedule custodian interviews
Produce and manage document production
Create/submit/track request
Attend team meetings
Skills Required:
Able to demonstrate ability to conduct key term searches
Able to demonstrate ability to provide customer service
Able to demonstrate ability to be a team player
Able to demonstrate problem solving abilities & critical thinking skills
Able to demonstrate good communication skills (verbal/written)
Able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft
Office and Lotus Notes
Able to demonstrate organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Able to demonstrate proficiency in searching in law databases (i.e. Westlaw,
Lexus Nexus, etc.)
Able to demonstrate time and task management skills
3-5 years industry experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
