User Experience Specialist

We're looking for a User Experience Specialist who is enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and works hard to make the user experience better. The User Experience Specialist will develop a deep understanding of users and help define the tasks, flow and interactions that are best for the user. This team member will collaborate with Marketing and Technology to discover the blend of requirements and design that meets the needs of the user and balances the requirements of the business.
Responsibilities
Conduct usability evaluations including heuristic evaluations, one-on-one usability studies and competitive benchmarking
Participate in end user research and concept development including contextual inquiries, persona and scenario development and ideation sessions
Design flowcharts, wireframes and prototypes for rapid, iterative user interface definition and improvement
Collaborate throughout the lifecycle of a product, working with developers, testers, designers and product management in both Agile and Waterfall development environments
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in interaction design, industrial design, psychology, information architecture or equivalent discipline
Understanding of theories and principles of user-centered design
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Ability to work within a team
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
