The Senior Software Engineer develops, improves and maintains innovative software applications. The person in this position also mentors and leads small development teams and acts as an application owner.
Responsibilities
Foster a collaborative environment
Work with or without complete business requirements or specifications
Work directly with business partners
Lead design and code reviews
Assist with delivery estimates
Provide feedback on the software-engineering process
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Five years of programming or related experience in Cocoa, Objective C, HTML, .NET, PHP, Java or Progress
Five years of experience in software testing and design
Five years of database-related, team-centric experience
Experience leading small project teams and mentoring others
Knowledge of unit testing and the software development life cycle
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
