Senior Systems QA Analyst

Responsible for handling complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues; creating, preparing, and conducting quality assurance reviews and developing and execution of test plans and test scripts; developing and testing databases using SQL, working with clients to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process; serving as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project; analyzing, performing ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents, testing, and certifying application-specific software using Sony Vegas, Quality Center, Test Director, Bugzilla, HP Quick Test Pro, and HP Load Runner; using advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems; researching new products and industry methodologies and facilitate the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards; planning and drafting quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections; working on Oracle database using Oracle TOAD and Microsoft SQL Server; and logging, tracking, and verifying resolution of software and specification defects.
Location: Detroit, MI and other multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
Salary: $103,938.00 per year.
Education: Bachelors Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, or as a Systems QA Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, Test Lead Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Experience must include use of Quality Center, Test Director, Bugzilla, HP Load Runner, Oracle TOAD, and Sony Vegas.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum requirements of this position.
