Area Sales Manager (US Central Region)
Fujitsu Component America, Inc., a subsidiary of Fujitsu Group companies, is a leading supplier of relays, connectors, thermal printers, touch panels. Fujitsu Components America, Inc. (FCAI) is responsible for managing the sales, marketing and distribution of its connectors, relays, resistive touch panels, keyboards, pointing and input devices, KVM switches, thermal printer mechanisms, wireless modules, and optical modules in North, South and Central America. Primary customers include large original equipment manufacturers and resellers of a broad range of electronic equipment for various industries. Our success depends on every single employee's contributions, and especially those who interface with our customers. Currently we are seeking an Area Sales Manager to be stationed at a location of US Central Region.
Essential responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager include but not limited to:
Understands forecast and sales cycle and meets responsibilities accurately.
Establish area sales goals, creates exceptional sales plans.
Communicate the business plan to the independent representative sales companies in the assigned area.
Growing a base of customers, meet sales quota for assigned area for multiple product lines.
The Area manager is expected to independently plan daily trips to maximize growth in real pipeline prospects and revenue dollars.
Meeting or exceed monthly new sales budget on a consistent basis.
Presentation to prospective clients and recommend appropriate services and pricing structure.
Meet established goals of the department
Manage the distribution network in the assigned territory and implement sales plans.
Work with Marketing to develop sales strategy and provide information regarding future business and product opportunities.
Requirements are:
Bachelors degree in business or Electrical Engineering or 5 years of related experience
5 years of experience working as sales manager, previous experience working with automotive industry preferred.
MS Office, Excellent phone selling skills and closing skills. Consultative selling skills. Maintain CRM data for the area.
Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
Candidate has knowledge of relay is highly desirable.
