Job summary
The Brand Marketing and Communications (BMC) Market Segment Manager leads all BMC activities for the Michigan and Northwest Ohio market segment. This includes developing the marketing strategy and overseeing execution across the full marketing mix.
Responsibilities
Works closely with the Market Segment Leader (MSL) and the Region Go-to-Market Programs leader to understand focus accounts, client issues and growth targets and develop the annual marketing plan for the market segments.
Serves as an advisor and single point of contact to the MSL and Segment Office Managing Partners for all things BMC related.
In consultation with relevant leadership, develops marketing strategies that support the go-to-market priorities for the market segment.
Identifies, evaluates and implements marketing opportunities across the full marketing mix including sponsorships, speaking engagements, hosted events, collateral and PR/social media that align with market segment sector goals.
Teams with BMC colleagues on execution of internal and external communications.
Provides feedback on program effectiveness and results following consultation with the MSL.
Oversees the contact database/GLMS lists for market segment mailings.
Develops and tracks budget and overall BMC calendar for the market segment.
Tracks and reports results of execution to Region BMC leader.
Knowledge and skills requirements
Demonstrated marketing and communications expertise (5-7 years) in a professional services environment, including prior experience executing events, sponsorships, communication programs, and strategic marketing planning.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong executive presence.
Ability to influence and develop trusted business relationships with senior executives, clients and colleagues.
Excellent project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives at one time.
Ability to work both independently and within teams, operating in a virtual, broad-based team.

Education
Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing or Communication major; MBA preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
