Detroit, MI Detroit, MI Full-time Full-time $85,000 - $100,000 a year $85,000 - $100,000 a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago As a member of a Construction Management team and with a strong background and knowledge in the Field Coordinator/ Superintendent provides management oversight for all phases of construction and/or equipment installation ensuring that safety requirements are being met, specifications are being followed, and proper installation methods utilized are being used.
This position provides expertise support to the rest of the team while ensuring work is proceeding on schedule and within specifications.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Coordinating installation activity with the contractor to ensure priority work is being performed in a safe and timely manner.
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and safety requirements to monitor work by the contractor and ensure adherence.
Communicate project progress via update meetings, communication boards, and other meetings/ interactions with internal team, contractors and Owners.
Overseeing performance of all trade contractors and review engineering drawings to ensure compliance with all specifications and regulations are being followed.
Complete daily reports and required documentation for contractor activities and other administrative activities, as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS Ten (10) years as a Superintendent or General Foreman Ten (10) years in Construction Management.
Five (5) years in an automotive environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Job Type:
