Job DescriptionResponsibilitieso Create, release, maintain subsystem requirements in Doors, Ensure relevant & adequate linkages.
o Lead software requirement engineering activities and process steps for defined projects.
o Work closely with Subsystem leads, Multi discipline Project associates to elicit, create & document subsystems requirements.
o Elicitation and dissemination of system and customer level requirements to atomic software level.
o Analyze & report relevant requirements, conduct clarification meetings with stakeholders.
o Setup and manage new projects and requirements in DOORS NG.
o Understand Engineering RASIC, Stakeholders, Product Development Process, Engineering Deliverables and Sub processes, along with subsystems engineer, derive and coordinate requirements agree / disagree determination and continuous management with stakeholders.
o Write detailed and clear software requirements.
o Analyze, prioritize and define verification criteria for requirements.
o Ensure full bi-directional traceability (up to customer / system requirements and down to software implementation and validation test cases).
o Conduct requirement peer reviews between software, hardware and validation engineers for feasibility, understanding and impact.
o Baseline requirement releases and ensure change control process is adhered to.
o Ensure exit and entry criteria for the software requirement process steps are complete.
o Ensure adherence to standard processes and procedures.
o Support process improvement and objectives for CMMI and ASPICE program assessments.
o Create & manage subsystem requirements open items list, prioritize list with subsystem engineer, escalate high priority open items as necessary.
Report progress to relevant metrics.

Required Skills:
o Bachelor of Science in an engineering disciplineo 10
years' experience in a software requirements engineering roleo Detailed knowledge and experience with IBM DOORS (preferably DOORS NG)o Experience defining / disseminating electronic systems or embedded software requirementso Experience with the AUTOSAR standard and its work productso Basic knowledge of functional safety.
o Basic knowledge of embedded software architectureo Basic knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&Ro Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
o Bachelor of Science in Electrical / electro-mechanical Engineering.
o Formal requirements engineering training and/or ISQI certification.
o DOORS NG experto Experience using IBM Rational Toolseto Deep knowledge in system architecture and requirementso Experience in creating and modifying application signal interface requirementso Experience in SysML modelingo Automotive experience, especially in drivetrain systems (power takeoff units, rear drive modules, etc.
)o Experience/participation in CMMI and/or ASPICE process improvement assessments and activitieso Experience with functional safety including ISO26262 and its work products Recommended Skills Architecture Assessments Automotive Industry Business Process Improvement Communication Electro Mechanical Engineering Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
