- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers - Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment - Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required - Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus - Knowledge of refrigerated trailers and temperature control is an asset - Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn is desirable - Experience in route driving or commercial driving is beneficial Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers - Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and moving of products - Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record - Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses - Attention to detail to ensure accurate order delivery and documentation Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
