The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with attention to detail and efficiency.
Organize and maintain inventory, conducting regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and according to company guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate and prioritize daily tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the company.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to weight pounds).
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
