40 an hour Job description Customer Service Representative A Growing and Progressive Community Health Center (with seven (7) locations throughout the metro Detroit area) has an immediate opening for a full-time Customer Service Representative for a busy primary care practice in a patient friendly ambulatory setting.
Position Description:
Greets and registers patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner; verifies necessary information i.

Medical Insurance Coverage.
Maintains and updates current information on patient demographics.
Answers questions regarding patient appointments.
Receives payment from patients and issues receipts.
Reconciles daily cash balance and cash drawer according to Policy & Procedure.
Performs insurance verification as appropriate.
Oversees waiting area, coordinates patients movement.
Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff.
