We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work in one of our contracted facilities in Detroit, MI! Day shift 7am-7pmCompensation- Local Rates Hourly - $37.

50Job DescriptionThe Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of an assigned group of patients.
Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Responsibilities Under general supervision, the RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) will perform all respiratory care related duties.
Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Respiratory Therapists are expected to be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team LeaderMaintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
