PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Window Install Supervisor duties include completing daily operations, and ensuring that work is done safely, on time, to the right quality standards, and within budget.
As a Window Install Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting a whole site or larger co-site schemes and team members.
All Window Install Supervisors report directly to the Site Manager or a more senior manager.

Preparing and executing the on-site plan(s) Collecting all appropriate/specific job materials and equipment Accounting for all materials, equipment, and/or installations Preparing and closing job site (Photo Records) Coordinating with subcontractors Communicating with scheduled clients Taking time to get to know the homeowners Explaining to the homeowners what will happen throughout the day Answering any questions that come up Asking the happy homeowner for an online review at the conclusion of each job ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set glass doors, sashes and storms into frames and bolt metal hinges, locks, handles and other hardware to attach frames and walls.
Install pre-assembled wood or metal frameworks for doors and windows before glass panel installation using hand tools.
Cut, put together, measure or install metal frames and enclosures for glass panels in various areas and structures, including picture windows, multiple lite sash windows, storms, lead lite sashes, solariums and skylights.
Meet maintenance policies, procedures and protocols.
Review installations and equipment to minimize incidents and identify opportunities for recommended improvement.
Evaluate the maintenance needs of the project and execute a plan to address them.
Provide technical definition and oversight of minor works.
Manage and address facilities-related needs and incidents.
Carry out projects to optimize efficiency and reduce cost.

Coordinate all aspects of the works related to a project in line with requirements, budget, and timeline.
Communicate directly with the Site Manager to coordinate maintenance and repair projects.
QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of a High School diploma or GED MIOSHA - 10 Minimum Lead/Asbestos Abatement Certification (Preferred) Skilled in general repairs, carpentry, painting, composite materials Provide general and preventive residential/commercial services Proven experience in successfully managing time, leading in teams, and managing projects Sales and customer service experience Physical capacity to complete roles and responsibilities.
Can lift a minimum 50lbs (23 kg) above head Working Knowledge of hand and power tools COMPETENCIES Analytical skills to understand and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and measurements.
Ability to plan and act proactively.
High organizational skills and ability to prioritize the work.
Logical decision making and professional judgment.
Variations in wall materials (interior and exterior) Different types of casing or sill construction Proven track record of workmanship Self-motivation, time- and work-process management skills, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to perform troubleshooting and deductive reasoning.
Good communication skills in English (Second Language in Espan l a plus) Competency with business-related software and systems.

All new hires will be required to provide a negative test result for the SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) virus at least 48 hours prior to their first day of work.

REPORTING LINES The Window Install Supervisor reports directly to the Site Manager, and Site Operations Officer (SOO) and is evaluated annually by him/her, in conjunction with the Chief Operations Officer.
