Broad knowledge, awareness and experience in general areas related to operations, facilities maintenance and repair, grounds keeping, landscaping, industrial janitorial, housekeeping and laundry.
o Deep knowledge and expertise in at least two areas:
operations, facilities maintenance and repair, grounds keeping, landscaping, inventory, warehouse, janitorial, housekeeping, laundry, commercial planning, real estate, fire, safety, and security.
Knowledge and awareness of OSHA standards and typical occupational hazards and a commitment to comply with safety rules, processes, and procedures.
Demonstrated proficiency in technology platforms and applications - e.
g.
Paycor, Salesforce, Sage.
Valid Michigan drivers and chauffeur's license or ability to obtain chauffeur's license.
90-DAY REQUIREMENTS Completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) seminar provided by the agency, with ability to apply and perform TCI techniques.
Obtain American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES Constant and continuous observation and reporting, at regular intervals or as scheduled, of appearance and condition of facilities internal and external and the condition of premises required to ensure client and staff health, safety, and wellbeing.
Report the need for facility or equipment repairs, replacement, safety hazards or conditions requiring attention to the Operations, Maintenance and Facilities Director immediately.
Performance of laundry services:
wash, dry, and fold client clothing and linens; communicate equipment repair and maintenance needs; monitor laundry supplies inventory.
Maintain cleanliness of buildings and grounds:
sweep and mop floors, service bathrooms and client living areas; monitor inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies, chemicals, and cleaning materials.
Perform inventory tasks in accordance with defined WHS warehouse policies and procedures.
Performance of seasonal ground maintenance and landscaping tasks:
grass cutting, snow removal, deicing walkways, maintain flower beds, sculpt and trim shrubbery and trees and maintain walkways, and mulch appropriate areas.
Support the planning and implementation of tasks required specific to WHS special events.
Participate/attend and complete all required contractual, licensing and agency training successfully.
Function as a mandated reporter, as required by Michigan Child Protection Law.
Attend all required meetings Other duties, as assigned Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
