We are looking for a Compliance Coordinator to support our VP of Compliance.
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure compliance with company-wide policies and client standards.
This individual will also be responsible for supporting in-house council in conducting research, and document preparation on legal matters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Creates and maintains department and client specific procedures Data analytics and preparing compliance audit data from internal and external information Supports operations by providing summaries of data collected Research state and federal environmental policies, and regulations Provides administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies Performs account level review to summarize history for internal/client responses and performs analysis to identify issues and plans to resolve Assist with program audits, and risk assessments Reviews client standard updates and executes system client profile changes to meet business and client needs Support RFP development, as needed Ensure accurate completion and tracking of compliance documents, notify department of deadlines Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Be able to work independently at times/work without much guidance or direction Work with company portals to update company safety statistics from acquiring OSHA 300 Logs Have a firm understanding of environmental, health and safety policies Collaborating with different departments to complete projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies or relevant field At least one (2) years of experience in related job position Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations pertaining to the energy, environmental, supply chain and automotive industries Experience working with confidential information Highly skilled in writing, and reading legal documents Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals Proficient in MS Office applications Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and reporting Must be able to make independent decisions and function independently with minimal supervision Candidate must have a continuous improvement mindset Exceptional interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and advisory skills Diligent with an exceptional analytical mind Ability to successfully complete background check, and drug screen The above information is intended to describe the most important aspects of the job.
