Supports evaluation of the school's courses, clerkships and faculty.
Works closely with the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement and Compliance to implement the school's evaluation strategies.
Also works with Director of Accreditation in order to ensure the school's evaluation protocols are compliant with the Liaison Committee on Medical Education accreditation process.
Specific duties include the generation of data reports that support the school's evaluation of its curriculum and faculty.
Additional duties include the generation of compliance reports in order to monitor student completion of curricular components.
These reports will be provided to and utilized by deans, course/clerkship directors and curriculum management committee as part of the school's evaluation process.
Reports to Director of Continuous Quality Improvement
Essential Functions:
Develops course, program and clerkship evaluations within school supported learning management systems.
Generates course and clerkship evaluation reports based on appropriate assessment and evaluation data.
This function require the ability to utilize the report features of the learning management system to generate data files and utilize data analysis software to develop data reports with basic statistics on course and clerkship evaluations.
Develops tracking and compliance monitoring systems for educational activities (e.
g.
, Procedures/Diagnosis, Duty Hours) within school supported learning management systems.
Generates regular compliance reports for required educational activities Inputs evaluation and compliance data into the school's centralized monitoring system Collects, maintains and reports United States Medical Licensing Examination examination data to stakeholders.
Generates and disseminates faculty evaluation reports to stakeholders to support effective curriculum management.
Assists in the daily tracking and reporting of student assessment outcomes.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree A Bachelor's degree in education, public administration or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Candidates with 5 or more years of data extracting and analysis experience will be considered.
Experience:
Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience) 5 or more years of experience with data extracting and analysis is required.
Higher education curriculum evaluation experience is preferred.
Intermediate or higher level Microsoft Excel and/or Access skills are required.
Specific knowledge of descriptive statistics (mean, median, standard deviation) and pivot tables is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Highly proficient in Microsoft office suite; Access, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
Experience using University systems including Banner and SOMSIS preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with a diverse group of staff and student body is essential.
Ability to evaluate, interpret and present information effectively in professionally prepared documents or presentations.
Must possess a demonstrated attention to detail in order to achieve a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines.
Refined organizational and time-management skills.
