The Medical Information Librarian role will manage and maintain all company-owned clinical information resources and associated content in the Tower Operations Department, where the Tower is representative of the Medical Director and DRG Integrity Specialist chart review partnership.
Overall, the position includes ensuring that the storing, archiving, and taxonomical layout of informational resources are consistent, up to date and readily accessible by all Tower staff.
The Medical Information Librarian is responsible for developing and implementing a cataloging system and reference libraries, as well as preserving the freshness and accuracy of cataloged items and references, particularly the primary sources from the medical and coding literature for the department, learning management system (LMS) content and clinical workflow documents.
They will perform complex medical literature searches and have a broad understanding of software packages and tools required, including but not limited to Jira and Confluence.
PRIMARY JOB
Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and maintains the cataloguing and taxonomies of information pertinent to the Tower staff utilizing a variety of tools (LMS, Teams, Jira, Confluence, etc.
) Proactively collects, tags, and shares industry, technology, and news through platform toolsSupports strategic planning of organization wide knowledge managementMaintains and archives clinical references utilized in Accuity's proprietary technology product and learning management systemManages process for annual and ad hoc updates for internal criteria, including client specific criteriaPerforms complex literature search support for clinical questions for Towers OperationsAssists and partners with Denial and Appeals, CDI, Department of Education, Internal Controls and Quality, Technology Department, and executives on an ad hoc basis to ensure up to date knowledge tools are maintained and accessible by the necessary staffOther duties as assigned Requirements Education:

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience providing reference services and research support in a corporate settingHealthcare experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Analytical and problem-solving skills, including competence in advanced level information searching, evaluation and ethical application of resultsDemonstration of excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and strong presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively in a complex, changing environmentEvidence of well-developed organizational, time, and project management skillsAdvanced experience in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint Knowledge and understanding of PLM and EDA businesses preferredAbility to thrive in a remote environment Recommended Skills Analytical Appeals Clinical Works Communication Confluence Demonstration Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
