Analyst- Outpatient Audit, Analytics and Technology Remote

Under direction of the OP Audit, Analytics & Technology Manager or Supervisor, provides support to Revenue Cycle and its business units by evaluating, planning, and implementing actionable educational, financial or performance strategies and workplans related to provider documentation & coding education.
This role performs data extraction/mining from multiple systems, data validation, research anomalies, qualitative/quantitative analysis, and develops/maintains published reports, dashboards and databases related to strategic and operational performance for effectiveness, compliance, risk mitigation and improvement efforts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Create and/or obtain data extracts, conduct data integrity/validation processes using various software systems.
Perform in-depth analysis of validated data sets using qualitative/quantitative methods and research anomalies to identify outlier and/or revenue opportunity related to documentation, coding, reimbursement and/or operations.
Using analyzed data trends prepares and presents mitigation strategies to leadership that reduce risk and/or maximize reimbursement in relation to KPIs and financial goals.
Design, build and publish standardized reports, charts, diagrams, and dashboards to support key performance indicators, financial goals and identify issues/risk and/or opportunity trends using Excel, Power BI, Vizio, slicer dicer, etc.
Serve as technical support for OP Audit and Education team through demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug and test applications within Access databases.
Develop strategies for the integration and use of automation technology to optimize department effectiveness by providing financial and operational reporting and analytical modeling.
Perform routine maintenance, identify enhancements of departmental databases of information, repositories of standard operating procedures and other reference materials.
Oversees and maintains Provider Master lists through collaborations with HR, provider enrollment/credentialing, education delivery, and revenue cycle analytics.
Monitors and maintains routing criteria for all PB Audit charge review WQs.
Lead, organize and/or collaborate on projects and system initiatives.
Maintains working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, the organizational Integrity program, Standards of conduct and other policies to ensure adherence reflecting honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Health Administration, Healthcare Finance, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, clinical documentation improvement and/or healthcare revenue cycle/finance.
Minimum of 3 years coding experience, preferred.
Advanced data analytics/data mining skills to gather and organize data from disparate sources and ability to present findings to leadership in a way that is useful for decision support, benchmarking, and quality performance tracking.
Demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts, metrics, workflows, and processes into easily understandable terms/formats.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Expert with report generation, data extraction, and statistical analysis using Microsoft Office products Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI and Vizio.
Database management and statistical analysis, preferred.
Experience in the use of HFHS Corporate Data Stores, Epic Clarity and the use of programming language a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Certification as RHIT, CPC, CCS, CCS-P or must obtain within 1 year of employment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
