This is a full time salaried position providing operational management of the Brightmoor Quality Initiative grant as well as outreach and technical assistance to childcare providers in northwest Detroit.
The overall goal is to improve the quality of early care and education in the Brightmoor community.
The person in this position reports to the Early Childhood Community Readiness Initiative Coordinator.
Conducts outreach to programs/providers to set and achieve goals for ongoing childcare quality improvement and professional development Conducts on-site visits with program/providers to build knowledge and understanding of curricula including HighScope, Reggio, Creative Curriculum and Waldorf Provides on-site technical assistance as needed to licensed home and center childcare sites to complete and submit their Self-Assessment Survey renewals Tracks and documents technical assistance provided using Excel and information management system Maintains awareness of, communicates and connects programs to local and regional quality improvement resources Maintains working knowledge of Great Start to Quality, Great Start to Quality STARS platform, MiRegistry to support classroom educator goals Attend all required trainings, team meetings and maintain communication with team in all phases of work Conduct informal and formal trainings and presentations on relevant childcare industry topics Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Minimum three years' experience in Early Childhood (Childcare, Head Start, etc.
) Community outreach and engagement and coaching experience preferred SALARY:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
