Lab Technician
Full-timeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Lab Technician with previous quality control experience in the food industry.
This position consists of testing and sampling all products and ensuring that we are producing a safe, great tasting, quality product that meets our specifications.
Primary Responsibilities Facilitate HACCP compliance Oversee product sampling and analysis process Participate in microbiological control program Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications via product testing Calculate adjustments to batches and alter batches to meet specs Participate in quality and sanitation programs Facilitate regulatory complianceJob Qualifications B.

Degree in Food Science or Life Science preferred but not required Previous QC Experience Knowledge of GMP's, SSOP's and HAACP (HAACP Certification a plus) Experience in a food production facility a plusFeelin' Like a Faygo!In 1907, two Russian immigrants, Ben and Perry Feigenson, created a piece of Detroit history by opening Faygo Beverages, Inc.
's first facility.
More than a century later, Faygo is still located in Detroit and proudly produces such iconic soft drinks as RedPop and Rock and Rye along with a complete line of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages.
Faygo has been part of the National Beverage family since 1987.
