Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for verifying the execution of the quality systems and processes.
The technician will perform inspections of finished products, raw materials, packaging at all stages of operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform periodic line checks to verify metal detection, ingredient usage, weights, etc.
Participate in production pre-operational inspections.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Enforce the Good Manufacturing Practices Perform/assist with environmental swabbing throughout the facility Assist in facility audits and regulatory audits Data Entry and analysis Work with other departments to maintain the integrity of the food safety management system Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Must be detail oriented and possess intermediate math and reasoning skills.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Prior experience in a related field.
Preferred
Qualifications:
PQCI Certified Associate degree in a related field.
Laboratory Experience.
Fluent in both Spanish and English HACCP Certification Working Conditions:
Working temperatures of 35-40 degrees.
Must be able to stand and be on one's feet for extended periods of time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
