Sr. Executive Compensation Analyst

Job DescriptionUnder minimal supervision, responsible for the administration of executive compensation and perquisites programs for BCBSM and its subsidiaries.
Prepares meeting materials and provide support for the BCBSM board, its committees, and subsidiary boards.
Participates in salary surveys, audits, and studies of executive compensation practices to ensure the Company maintains external competitiveness.
Administer the procurement and related vendor payment processes.
Perform duties related to the administration of executive compensation and perquisites programs and contracts with external vendors.
Prepare meeting materials, presentations and provide support for the Personnel and Compensation Subcommittee, BCBSM board, its committees, and subsidiary boards.
Perform research and analysis related to compensation actions that are going to the Board, market trends, and salary program or incentive plan changes.
Prepare compensation related reports to support annual reporting process and to assist senior leadership in administration of the executive compensation programs.
Participate in annual executive and board member compensation salary surveys.
Participate in special projects assigned by BCBSM senior management, subsidiary leadership, or the subcommittee.
Perform audits and compliance reviews to assess executive program, effectiveness, and participation.
Develop and/or update executive job descriptions according to established format.
Update executive plan documents.
Assist by answering questions, supplying information and training as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related area preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
Five or more years' experience in compensation or related area required.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge and demonstration of skills utilizing Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.
).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of applicable Human Resources and related tax laws (i.
e.
, ERISA, FICA, IRC 409A , etc.
).
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
