As the Human Resources Associate, you will be in a highly visible position that will have a significant impact on the performance and profitability of the business.
You will support hourly team members and salaried/ hourly management/supervisory individuals encompassing a diverse range of disciplines.
This role focuses on recruiting to include off site event, new hire orientation, new hire training, employee engagement events, employee/labor relations, benefits, health and safety, reporting and time & point management, incentive program management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Partners with leadership team to ensure site and workforce are deployed to execute strategic priorities.
Focus on Employee Engagement, Empowerment and Retention.
Recruitment of new talent to join the team who meet the position competencies, have a strong character and are a culture fit.
Initiate pre-employment screening requirements.
Employee and Labor Relations adhering to the terms set in the collective bargaining agreement.
Ensures management consistency and compliance to federal and state employment laws.
Maintain accurate record keeping within human resource management system Run varies reports Administers performance management for hourly employees ready to convert.
Supports health and safety programs.
Leads and fosters diversity in the workplace.
Responsible for coordinating, and supporting the identified training and development opportunities.
Interface with Temporary Agency partners, ensure meeting SLA Other duties as required.

Support on-site Orientation and Training for all new hires.
Support the processing of weekly payroll for hourly employees.
Experience with basic data entry into Excel and Templates Understand and administer company policies in accordance to Federal, State and Local guidelines.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment Strong PC and Smartphone skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
