comWe are looking for a Director/Senior Manager to Run our Quality Department.
This person should be within commute distance to one of our manufacturing plants:
Detroit Metro Area, Jackson Michigan, Butler Pennsylvania, or Tullahoma Tennessee.
We are looking for an out of the box thinker who will be able to apply the appropriate quality standards, customer requirements, statistical techniques and auditing requirements to develop, implement and manage the quality systems for all resins manufacturing facilities and all suppliers.
We need a leader who can apply appropriate best practices and customer requirements while understanding the costs associated with compliance to balance quality with business goals.
This role's ultimate objective will be to design and implement a cost effective corporate sustainability process, while developing and managing the metrics required to measure performance as applicable.
Major Accountabilities:
Determine quality and manufacturing requirements for various products and develop and implement the quality scheme required to meet these requirements.
Perform all the required APQP activities, host new customer sourcing audits, determine manpower and equipment needs, design/purchase the required equipment and select and approve new component suppliers.
Also include is designing in as much error proofing as possible so as to isolate JSP for Controlled Shipping.
This is measure by successful completion of PPAP's and process capability requirements.
Manage all activities associated with acquisition and maintenance of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 certifications, CCC/CCAP certifications, customer certifications (Q-1, etc.
) for all US plants.
This includes serving as company Management Representative, negotiating pricing, scheduling of training and second and third part audits, coordinating the required corrective action responses, etc.
This is measured by results of internal and external audits.
Provide support to the Tullahoma 2 and Jackson plants to start new programs.
Design and implement QC infrastructure for all plants, ensuring the most efficient utilization of manpower.
Develop and manage staff.
This includes determining staffing requirements and training needs; adjusting the QC organization to meet the changing needs of the business; identifying key performance measures; providing regular performance feedback against measure; delegating and advising as necessary and appropriate to task and person's abilities.
Measured by annual performance reviews and results achieved.
Direct best practices/benchmarking activities for the corporation, including selecting teams, developing consensus, documenting recommendations and implementing recommendations as appropriate.
Meeting minutes and documented recommendations measure performance in this area.
Manage the Corrective Action Process for Molding, Expansion and Extrusion.
Ensure that responses are completed on time; ensure that the responses include appropriate actions and activities; and ensure recurring problems are eliminated where possible.
Direct/coordinate inter-departmental responses in situations where this is required.
The CAR tracking log measures this.
Analyze production data and make recommendations for continuous improvement for all products and processes.
This is measured by improvements in efficiency and reductions in scrap.
Review proposed interior product designs for manufacturing feasibility make recommendations for improvements to those designs and determine the need for new equipment.
This is measured by process capability indices.

Years - Must be able to make presentations, explain and train others.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
