54 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago POSITION FOCUS ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Room service attendant is responsible for receiving orders, preparing orders and delivering items to guest rooms in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner Prepare station in anticipation of the day's business Stock work areas with china, glassware, linen, coffee pots, napkins and ensure that stock is clean and polished Check VIP list and prepare and deliver amenities Set tables and trays according to established standards Retrieve trays on a timely basis Ensure quality of food and beverage being delivered and communicate with manager Preform opening and closing duties according to established sidework checklist Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials and upsell items to guests Answer the telephone while maintaining established standards Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper uniform and name tag when working Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel Safely serve guests in compliance with all laws and regulations Ensures safety of guest belongings and following security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager, or MOD JOB QUALIFICATIONS Competencies Energy and Drive Energetic and takes initiative, persistent in pursuing and completing tasks, strives to exceed expectations Strategic Skills Proficient in required job skills and knowledge.

Abilities 95% of shift is standing, Bending/kneeling - repeated bending and kneeling required while filing, Mobility - must be able to reach all areas of hotel to assist guests.
Lifting and storage of guest items and luggage up to 90 lbs.
