Network Engineer - W2 Contract

Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI (Onsite)
Duration: 1 year
W2/1099 Only
Responsibilities:
Design and deploy functional and secure network environments in a multiple layered network environment.
Develop and implement security measures such as web traffic decryption for servers and users.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., firewalls, VPN, and etc).
Resolve escalated issues from support tiers by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
Automate network tasks and validate their effectiveness.
Monitor network performance and integrity, ensuring high availability and performance.
Maintain complete technical documentation of the network and security infrastructure.
Suggest improvements to network security capacity, and scalability.
Mandatory Skills:
Requirements
Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
Solid background in network administration and architecture. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), web traffic encryption/decryption, PKI and certificates.
Familiarity with network access control model and network security.
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration and management.
Knowledge of web traffic filtering, monitoring, and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Panorama for centralized management of Palo Alto firewalls.
Experience with network security policies, rules, NATs, and security profiles.
Proficient in coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
