Senior Lighting Engineer

The Senior Engineer is responsible to lead the engineering activities relating to the design and development of the vehicle lighting system.
Support and contribute to knowledge base of internal and external best practices Lead benchmarking studies and contribute to the benchmark knowledgebase Propose and lead advanced development topics Propose continuous improvement opportunities to level up team skills, qualifications, tools, and processes Lead design proposals with set based engineering principles Lead designs with 6 Sigma design principles Support complex problem solving with cross functional teams Experience - 10
years Lighting development Excellent communication skills and experience working with global teams Experience in design release and testing of components and assemblies Experience in thermoplastic molding, Polycarbonate (PC) and 2K Molding Experience in bonding and adhesive selection Experience in welding thermoplastic materials, ultrasonic, laser, infrared and multi-material Experience in fastening, threaded fasteners, riveted fasteners, and clip retainers Experience in mold in color (MIC) exterior parts Experience in class A painting and metal corrosion protection Experience with multicolor lens molding, hard coating, anti-fog coating, painting and metallization Experience with front end and rear end of vehicle lighting Education- BSME Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Automation Clips Business Process Improvement Communication Design Elements And Principles Industrial Laser Tasking Apply to this job.
