75 an hour 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago We are looking for an ambitious Food Service Worker to assist in the preparation, delivery, and serving of meals.
You'll perform routine kitchen tasks such as preparing workstations, inventory condiments and cleaning.
You will also be expected to perform transportation duties to transfer any/all prepped food from the kitchen to the serving site.
An ideal Food Service Worker will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job.
You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen.
You will also encourage and maintain excellent customer service when interacting with the clients.
The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.
Responsibilities Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible Daily transport of all prepared food to the site of service Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines Perform other kitchen duties such as dish washing and cleaning as assigned Requirements Proven experience as Food Service Worker, or Server Ability to communicate with residents/customers with a positive, professional attitude Reliable transportation (company van will be provided for food transport) 4 years of driving experience required At least 1 years cooking experience with at least 1 years customer service or food service experience No more than 2 moving violations within the last 2 years No major driving infractions( DUI, Reckless Driving, etc) within the last 5 years Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils A team player with good communication skills Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure High school diploma or equivalent is desirable Job Types:
