Johnson Service Group is currently recruiting for an accomplished, Purchasing
manager
, for an international manufacturing client located in Detroit, MI. This
position
will be responsible for the global purchasing function and ensuring maximum supplier performance and global leverage to positively impact the company's financial outlook.

With a global purchasing value in excess of $200 million, this position will focus on developing and implementing a supply chain strategy that results in significantly lower material costs and improved supplier delivery and quality. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a worldwide leader in the automotive parts industry. (US citizenship or active Green Card required. Duties and
Responsibilities:
Maintaining strong supplier relationships
Material price negotiation/reduction
Contractual management
Managing the North American purchasing staff
Travel will be required

Required Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required

Required
Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in procurement management
Must be an effective leader with a high degree of creativity and energy
Specific knowledge of metal forging, stamping,
electronics
, PCBA's, molding and plastics in a global environment is strongly preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
