Detroit office seeks labor and employment attorney having 5+ years of experience handling employment and traditional labor law matters. The candidate will research and prepare memoranda, position statements, and pleadings. Must have knowledge and experience with state and federal EEO laws, EEOC and MDCR enforcement proceedings, and employment litigation as well as other state and federal labor and wage laws including NLRA, FLSA, and FMLA. Extensive writing and research experience is required, as well as a demonstrated ability to assist corporate personnel with day to day advice and counseling, file review, and case analysis.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
