Understand the various types of application package deployments including JAR, WAR, and EAR files
Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, implement patch management, troubleshoot, repair and support:
IBM Tivoli Access Manager with WebSEAL, Policy Server and Web Portal Manager
IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager (TFIM)
IBM WebSphere Portal Server, Process Server and Business Monitor
IBM Business Process Management (BPM)
Experience in debugging and supporting multitier environments
Maintain and support bulk LDAP data loads and data synchronization processes
Support a B2X environment of approximately 30,000 users
Provide and support above technologies infrastructure with load-balanced, clustered and fail-over capabilities
Provide support for hardware refresh of the above technologies infrastructure
Monitor infrastructure and provide proactive and reactive support, problem management and root cause analysis
Establish and support interfaces with database, messaging and mail services from the above infrastructure
Implement industry standard best practices and innovative solutions for maximum ROI with reduced infrastructure operations cost
Implement best practices for infrastructure configuration migration/deployment and backup
Participate in on-call rotation supporting 24x7 according to established VWoA SLA guidelines. (SLA guidelines are subject to change)
Support application deployment and configuration needs, deploying code/content, troubleshooting and performance tuning activities
Understand and participate in Change Control and Change Management processes
Define and participate in the development of common processes, procedures and framework guidelines, disaster recovery plan and procedures and declared emergencies
Liaison with Application Management Services and Infrastructure Operations in support of problem management and root cause analysis
Liaison with Infrastructure Operations to deploy upgrades and new products
Update system documentation supporting above activities including standard operation procedures
Support the implementation of new systems utilizing the software and services listed within this document as well as decommissioning these systems
Provide technology consulting and alternatives in support of new systems implementations
Implement Proof of Concept (POC) projects for product evaluations
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead
Minimum of 5-8
years of experience in the following technologies
IBM Tivoli Access Manager and WebSEAL
IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager (TFIM)
IBM WebSphere Application Server
IBM WebSphere Portal Server
IBM WebSphere Process Server and Business Monitor
Apache Tomcat
Oracle/BEA WebLogic
Java/J2EE
Knowledge of Portal and Content Management Technologies
Knowledge in IBM Business Process Management (BPM)
Experience using and maintaining application servers such as IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, RedHat JBOSS and Oracle WebLogic
Experience using and maintaining search engines such as SOLR and GSA
Up to 10% travel possible.
Education Requirements
Bachelors of Arts or Science in Computer Science/Information Systems/Enginnering or equivalent
