Position
Summary:
Responsible for maintaining end user relationships, consulting and supporting mobile workforce in Deloitte locations, client engagement sites, or other locations as required in a 24 hour x 7 day environment. Possesses a strong technical background solving problems with laptops, printers, software, and mobile telephony devices along with superb customer service skills, outstanding communications skills, and the ability to create and deliver training related presentations to the user community. Assists technology infrastructure teams (LAN, WAN, Telephony) in the deployment and configuration of mobile devices, hardware, and software applications. Assists in the tracking and procurement of such devices and applications.
Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities
Provides PC hardware and software deployment and support. Activities include procurement, configuration, deployment, and technical support of all standard hardware/software applications including internally developed and off the shelf software. Provides asset management and tracking of hardware and software. This duty requires knowledge of existing processes and the ability to identify new processes and resolutions.
Assists infrastructure teams (LAN, WAN, Telephony) where local hands on activities are required.
Provides Mobile Device deployment and support; activities include End user guidance and recommendations, activation, account modifications, configuration, testing, problem identification and resolution.
Aligns with engagement teams to understand their needs. Acts as liaison between Deloitte engagement staff and client's IT staff. Provides onsite support/solutions in using new or existing infrastructure, printers, scanners, NAS devices, broadband solutions, terminal server, VPN support. Implements engagement file-sharing solutions.
Grows relationships with business users at all levels in the organization. Promotes ITS services, engage customers to understand business needs and maintains ownership for problem resolution. Delivers monthly One Voice updates as well as other technology related updates to enhance the customer relationship.
Leads one on one and group training for peers and customers. This would include trainings on new technologies, hardware/software and process changes. Participates in certification and impromptu training to learn new technologies that are applied within the Deloitte environment.
Documents new and revised processes. Documents problems and resolutions for knowledge bases, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vendors, and service desk tickets. Adheres to policy and Service Level Targets through accurate recording of service activities, asset transactions, data retention, and PC compliance activities. Performs password resets, workstation management, group membership/rights assignments in Active Directory.
Supports and provides training for Audio/Video Conference equipment throughout the office. This would include various projection equipment, Television/Cable systems, Daily check and event startup and support of Video Conference Systems. Involved in logistical planning, implementation and support of large internal/external meetings. This includes consulting with meeting planners and Hotel IT staff on internet bandwidth, wireless connectivity, printing requirements, power requirements and AV support.
Represents Office & Regional level initiatives to include training, assist in resolving IT and or customer concerns. This includes Mobile Device Experts, Tax Experts, Application Experts, One Process discipline memberships, and regional communications.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Technical Skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; Intermediate knowledge of functionality of Microsoft Outlook, Lync, Windows and Mac operating systems, mobile device hardware and software, networking, video conferencing, Audio/Video, Telephony equipment, Active Directory administration.
Required Soft Skills
Solid customer service skills, listening and communications skills.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements
Laptop and Printer Original Equipment Manufacturer repair certifications
Education & Experience
Associate s Degree in computer or technology field or minimum 3-5 years of related experience within a corporate IT department. High level of customer service experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
