About the role:
The IT Project Manager has the end to end responsibility for the success of the critical global IT projects that will evolve and transform GM's business processes and capabilities. This empowered role includes management of the IT project lifecycle from definition to deployment, made possible through engagement with senior GM leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and development teams.
A successful IT Project Manager is a one-of-a-kind leader that naturally accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments, while at the same time achieves traditional operational objectives through effective team management and a can-do approach.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
At least 5 years IT project management experience, leveraging different software development methodologies.
Experience interacting with business customers and managing expectations.
Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule and quality.
Experience with requirements and test case development.
Preferred
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
Experience working as a Project Manager with a successful project delivery record.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
