The Supply Chain Analyst position consists of three levels: Analyst I, Analyst II and Sr. Analyst. Listed below are the decriptions for each position.
The _Analyst I_ is responsible for supporting the contracting and value validation process in the supply chain organization with regard to financial analysis, reporting and measuring of data/statistics. Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation/presentation of reports and data is a key responsibility. In addition, the position will provide appropriate consultative services via written and verbal communications and financial analysis to Ascension Health Supply Chain leadership. While this position may have focused responsibilities it will also support any Supply Chain and contract vertical information acquisition activities as necessary.
The _Analyst II_ is responsible for supporting the contracting and value validation processes in the supply chain organization with regard to financial analysis, reporting and measuring of data/statistics. The _Senior Analyst_ is responsible for supporting the contracting and value validation processes in the supply chain organization with regard to financial analysis, reporting and measuring of data/statistics. Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and presentation of reports and data is a key responsibility. In addition, the position will provide appropriate consultative services via written and verbal communications and financial analysis to The Resource Group leadership. Although this position may have focused responsibilities, it will also support any supply chain activities as necessary.
_Analyst I_
Support of Supply Chain Organizational leadership with financial analysis, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics.
Assist in the development, tracking and reporting of performance metrics for facility supply improvement initiatives.
Consult and advise Health Ministry personnel regarding individualized contract impact and serve as an information resource on related matters.
Assist in development of internal controls and validation of supply chain rebates.
Develop data collection tools and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes.
Assist in development, analysis and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quotes, bids and reverse auction contracting strategies.
Interpret data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts as they relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to Supply Chain Management.
Ensures contract data is loaded in Guidance and available to the ministries in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in communication between the National Office and Health Ministries.
Support the Supply Chain Department in achievement of department goals and objectives.
Perform special assignments or projects as directed. (Example: gather information, assemble spreadsheets, develop templates, write reports, and review all pertinent Supply Chain financial information.)
Serve on committees and task forces, as assigned.
Work with other supply chain verticals in everyday functions.
Pursue continuing education to advance knowledge of Supply Chain reporting, planning, and analysis.
The position requires strong analytical and skills with the ability to produce results with moderate supervision. Critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Time management and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time are vital. Proficient to expert use of spreadsheet, database, presentation and word processing applications are required.

_Analyst II_
Support leadership with financial analysis, project management, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics.
Develop support tools using intermediate to expert Excel and/or Access skills for implementation support, tracking and reporting of performance metrics for facility supply expense improvement initiatives.
Interpret data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts as they relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to leadership.
Consult and advise Health Ministry personnel regarding individualized contract impact and serve as an information resource on related matters.
Assist in development of internal controls and validation of supply chain rebates.
Assist in development, analysis and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quotes, bids and reverse auction contracting strategies.

_Sr. Analyst_

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
