Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking candidates for a variety of Volt positions onsite at our client's facilities located in Mossville, Illinois.
We are seeking a Systems Design Engineer to work on site at our client facility.
The job duties will include:
1. Utilize analytical techniques to develop and validate cooling system designs considering performance and underhood temperatures.
2. Develop cooling system specifications.
3. Generate multiple cooling system concepts and maintain analytical master models with accountability to make sure cooling systems meet performance specifications.
4. Size and select heat exchangers and fans via 1D analysis program similar to KULI.
5. Determine water circuit configuration including pump sizing, flow split balancing, and pressure drop assessment using 1D analysis programs.
6. Collaborate with design partners to meet ambient temperature capability, fan power and noise requirements.
7. Develop CFD models to understand air flow through cooling packages.
8. Develop underhood thermal CFD models to predict component temperatures and effects on cooling package air flow.
9. Participate in cooling/airflow tests and correlate analysis models.
10. Perform analysis to assist in resolving cooling related field problems.
11. Work to continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of cooling analysis processes and tools.
Job Requirements
12. BS in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field.
Strong analytical background.
13. Course work in CFD.
14. Strong background in thermo-sciences (some graduate level courses in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer).
15. Clear verbal and written communication skills.
16. 1D or 3D Cooling Component or System analysis experience.
17. Experience with CFD tools, particularly FLUENT.
18. Experience with meshing tools, particularly T-Grid and ANSA.

Qualifications:
19. MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field.
20. Working knowledge of engine and powertrain cooling systems.
21. Working knowledge of diesel engines and emission systems (aftertreatment).
22. 2
years experience using Fluent.
23. Experience using Pro/E, and 1D analysis tools similar to KULI. Knowledge of product development processes for machines and engines.
24. Project management skills allowing for handling of multiple projects and priorities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
