Responsibilities
Create, submit and process collection requests from customer.
Coordinate timing of collections with established vendor(s), and communicate deadlines to customer.
Prepare collections for processing by creating processing requests for the internal eDiscovery team.
Prepare collection reports on all matters/collections for the internal team and the customer.
Analyze electronic and/or hard media and provide processing recommendations to the Legal Document Production Center (LDPC).
Participate in the Email Retention Manager (ERM) process to ensure proper collection activities are completed for off-boarded employees.
Manage day-to-day interface with internal and external account contacts, including eDiscovery vendors.
Develop and manage processes for monitoring and collecting from non-client managed repositories of data (e.g. IT Backups).
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or relevant experience)
Experience
Required: 2 years - Experience working as a liaison between key clients, IT and third-party vendors for the creation and submission of collection and processing requests and other support functions.
Skills
Required:
Solid understanding of electronic document and/or email processing.
Familiarity with the proper handling of metadata,
Strong technical skills including college level computer training.
Familiarity with various collections and culling tools (e.g., FTK, Acronis, Autonomy).
Extremely accurate and detail-oriented.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
