The Media Relations Manager guides and implements the media strategy for our company. Plays an integral role in the crisis management planning and communications. Proactively develops strategic and creative pitch angles and story ideas, contribute media-savvy ideas.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, English, Business Administration or related field, required. PREFERRED: Master's Degree in Communications, Liberal Arts, English, Business Administration or related field.
Excellent business acumen
7-15 years of experience in a related discipline with proven results in advertising, media relations or public relations.
Written and verbal communication and advocacy skills consistent with the ability to present results of projects and research, and engage in persuasive written and verbal interaction with senior- and executive-level Corporate Management.
Demonstrated ability to interact with, counsel, and influence senior executives effectively. Has wisdom to share. Understands other's priorities and time restraints.
Analytical and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and THEN recommend optimal solutions for various situations.
Uses social media (blogs, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+) and has thisexperience.
Should be US Citizen and living in the USA.
