Knowledge of Aluminum High Pressure Die Casting Experience with Structural Castings and Alloys a Plus.
Develop High Pressure Die Cast Process Manufacturing Parameters for All AAM Aluminum Castings.
Troubleshoot & Implement Corrective Actions for Casting Quality Issues.
Assist and Guide AAM Designers to Develop Castings for Manufacturing.
Work with Tooling Engineer and Tool Shops to Develop Die Parting Lines, Slide Layout, & Internal Die Cooling Systems.
Design Runner & Gating Systems for Die Casting Dies
Run Simulation Software for Gating Systems for Die Casting Dies Experience using Unigraphics a plus
Create Equipment Specifications, Identify Key Vendors, Manage Equipment Purchase & Build, and Manage Equipment Installation.
PPAP all New Products Create All Documents for PPAP Package & Obtain Approval from Customer.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree with a major in engineering, manufacturing, business or equivalent.
1 - 3 years hands on experience in high pressure die casting industry as process engineer, tooling engineer or simulation engineer
Preferred
Automotive industry experience
