We are looking for a highly driven and dedicated Chief Financial Officer to own the success of our fast-growing organization's finances, budgets and administrative processes. This isn't your typical CFO position - you have the opportunity to to put your ideas into action by helping to formulate the financial future at one of Michigan's fastest growing private companies.

Our Chief Financial Officer will need to have a hands-on approach, and will be directly involved in everything from Control, Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning, Risk and more. RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct the implementation of strategic business plans and develop financial performance measures that support our company's strategic vision
Establish a high-performance financial strategy and objective based on our company's business model, goals and financial objectives
Manage the success and operations of the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax and treasury departments
Oversee employee compensation and benefits plans
Own our company's financial, administrative and budgeting processes, while also continuously developing and improving processes along the way
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, and provide financial projects and accounting services
Develop a high-performance financial infrastructure that drives efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting
Ensure the company is compliant with all tax requirements and authorities, and optimize tax strategies within compliance
Spot and identify potential financial risks, both within the company and in the finance market in general
REQUIREMENTS

years of proven financial leadership experience as a CFO, VP or Controller
CPA or CMA is preferred.
Proven experience building high-performance financial teams and processes in accordance with laws and best practices
Extensive problem solving, mathematical and analytical skills are required.
Computer skills required to include word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
Knowledge and understanding of benefit administration, employment law and federal and state regulations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
