This position will be part of AlixPartners' Corporate Services Global Services team. The role will be responsible for leading and/or supporting various planning and operations projects in support of AlixPartners' global crisis readiness and response programs, international assignment program requirements and global business travel needs.
The Global Services Professional is a full-time role located in Southfield, Michigan reporting to the Director of Global Services. Paid relocation is not available for this position.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage the establishment, development, maintenance and implementation of policies, plans and procedures pertaining to Crisis Readiness/Response, Operations Security, Travel Risk Management, Workplace Emergency Contingency Management and Safety/Health program management, including but not limited to:
Identifying potential travel and international assignment security threats, including assessment of their likelihood and potential severity;
Identifying and preparing for operations risk mitigation activities in various countries where the firm operates;
Accessing and analyzing data from the International SOS (ISOS) system, including 'Travel Tracker' software, to ensure safe travel for our global travelers; work with team and senior management on related strategy, actions, approvals and communications;
Accessing and analyzing data from the 'AlertMedia' system to assist in global crisis preparedness and response activities and manage various initiatives related thereto;
Assisting in development of management analyses, reports, presentations and related initiatives and manage various action items resulting from management decisions;
Ensuring timely, effective and efficient logistical and security support for global engagement teams and for other staff mobility programs;
Establishing and developing of 3rd party security provider relationships;
Partnering with team management to build and strengthen relationships with key service and technology vendors and internal partners;
Additional responsibilities as identified.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience, required.
Minimum of 5 years' professional work experience, with demonstrated project management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with high complexity and time pressures; a self-starter and completer/finisher.
Preferred candidates will have familiarity with one or more of the following: Travel or mobility programs, Crisis readiness and/or preparedness programs, Technology based tracking systems, Health and Safety programs.
Combination of exceptional analytical skills, focus and flexibility.
Willingness to play an active role; behind the scenes or in a visible leadership role.
Detail oriented, good judgment, able to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal, intercultural and oral/written communications skills with strong commitment to collaboration and providing support for our internal customers/stakeholders.
Must be able to work full time in an office environment.
Must be physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the work day.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
