In addition, we participate in a joint hematology/oncology fellowship program with the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Provide care for patients with malignant and benign hematological disorders and patients with oncological disorders in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Experience in performing bone marrow aspirates and biopsies is required The physician will be expected to teach fellows, residents, medical students and provide education for other attending staff. Active participation in selected multi-disciplinary committees related to cancer care is required Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am-4:

Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Experience:
Board eligible/Board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology is a requirement of our academic affiliate as the physician will participate in fellow and resident education. Reference:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
