As a result of continued rapid growth we are currently seeking a System Development Engineer for our Worldwide Software Deployment & Integration team.
The System Development Engineer will be responsible for integrating, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions for material handling systems (MHE); act as a liaison for internal and external partners/resources and be on call as needed during seasonal peak times.
This position will also provide proper training and support to facility controls technicians on system troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities:
Prepare software integrations for new construction and retrofit deployments Travel to warehouse facilities to deploy and test new MHE software/controls systems Prepare specifications and technical detail to fully define performance on equipment, material and services Test and provide detailed analysis of existing and new engineering solutions and components Write and follow formal change management processes Be responsible for deployment related incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation Support commissioning of new automation elements Support the design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations Implement industrial engineering design on existing and new material handling systems across the world wide network Work with IT, Software Development, and Operations Engineering to develop and update system knowledge and training documents for the facilities engineering teams Provide and maintain technical documentation, e.

flow diagrams, conveyor and equipment layouts, control system and equipment configuration and installation details Lead continuous improvement processes to improve machine uptime and reduce machine breakdowns related to new technologies Provide value engineering/ value analysis Ensure adherence to all health & safety procedures.
Be proactive in the raising of potential H&S issues and the development of personal safety awareness Fully understand and ensure procedural adherence to industry operating standards such as the NEC and NFPA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
